Message:
The school spreads the faith by giving its students the message of the Gospel and the truths of the Catholic religion. The environment reflects a truly Christian spirit of love, forgiveness, oneness, family, and faith-community orientation.
Community:
The school community mirrors the larger parish community and joins with it in prayer, social gatherings, athletic events, outreach programs, and various other community affairs.
Service:
St. Vincent de Paul School students participate in apostolic service activities throughout the year. Some service projects may extend beyond the local civic community or church community to the universal church and/or countries around the world.
Worship:
Faculty, staff, and students of St. Vincent de Paul School attend Mass weekly. Kindergarten through fifth grades attend Mass on Tuesdays and sixth through eighth grades attend Mass on Thursdays. Once a month, there is an All-School Mass. Parents and other members of the community are encouraged to attend. In addition, students have opportunities to pray together during each school day. There are opportunities to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, to participate in special paraliturgical celebrations, such as Eucharistic Adoration, the Rosary, May devotions, the Stations of the Cross, and other activities for faith development.
