DAILY SCHEDULE

 

The traditional August to May/June schedule is followed. The school day

begins at 7:45 AM and dismissal is at 3:00 PM

  

 Pre-Kindergarten (refer to schedules distributed each year)

 Kindergarten (may be half or full-day sessions)

 Grade 1 through Grade 8 is a full-day session

 

Students MUST be in their classrooms by 8:00 AM to not be considered late.

Note:

IF A STUDENT IS LATE FOR SCHOOL, he/she must be accompanied to the office by the parent/guardian/designated person who must sign the student in before he/she is permitted to report to the classroom.

 

Time is provided for lunch and a short recess/break.

  

Afternoon Dismissal

The teachers and/or staff supervise all dismissals. Parents are requested to cooperate with them to make dismissal as efficient and safe as possible. This is important for the proper flow of traffic. Traffic directions are to be observed at all times.

  

Wednesday Dismissal

School is dismissed at 11:30 PM once a month, usually on the first Wednesday of the month. This is to give the teachers time for professional in-service and faculty meetings. Parents are requested to make doctor and dental appointments at this time if possible.

 

A Matter of Policy

The school is not responsible for students who are brought to school before 7:00 A.M. Students arriving between 7:00 A.M. and 7:30 A.M. are to report to Extended Care. Parents will be charged for supervisory services rendered.

 

Parents are asked to call the office if they are unable to be on time for pick-up. The school is not responsible for students who are left at school after 3:30 P.M. Students remaining on the premises after 3:30 P.M. will automatically be sent to Extended Care and parents will be charged for supervisory services.

 

Extended Care Services are available from

7:00 A.M. (Before School)     Monday through Friday

3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.              Monday through Friday

11:30 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.            First Wednesday of the Month
