 Spiritual Adoption Prayer

Jesus, Mary and Joseph I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of (insert the name you've chosen for your spiritual baby) that I have spiritually adopted; who is in danger of abortion.

In nine month we will have a baby shower for our Spiritual Babies.

 MONTH ONE

Thank you for praying for me!  I am one month old now.  I have a heart pumping my blood and a backbone.  I am very, very tiny and I appreciate your prayers!

Keep praying for me!  I am two months old now and about two inches long.  You can see my eyes, nose and mouth.  I will use them to experience God’s world after I am born.

MONTH TWO

 MONTH THREE

I’m three months old now.  I’m about three inches long and I weigh one ounce.  That’s not much, but I’m fully formed and can even suck my thumb!  Please keep praying for me---thanks!

Thank you for praying for me!  I’m bigger and stronger now.  I’m about six inches long and I weigh four ounces.  When Mom goes to the doctor, she can even listen to my heartbeat!  I hope that one day I will run and play with friends like you!

 MONTH FOUR
 MONTH FIVE
I am five months old now.  I am 12 inches long and I weigh about one pound.  I am really getting big and Mom can now feel me kick and move around---maybe someday I’ll play soccer!

I’m six months old now.  I just opened my eyes—before today they were sealed shut for protection.  I wonder what you look like?  I can hear sounds too!  It’s great to have someone praying for me—thanks! Month Six
 Month Seven
Thank you for praying for me!  I am seven months old now.  I am growing every day.  I’m between 14 and 17 inches long and weigh about 4 and a half pounds.  I move around a lot but it’s getting crowded in here!  Sometimes I even get the hiccups!

Thank you for praying for me!  I am eight months old now.  I’ve got long fingernails and I’m busy getting ready for my birthday.  I can’t wait to see my Mom and Dad!  Thanks to you and your prayers I’ll see them soon! Month Eight

MONTH NINE

IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Thank you SO MUCH for all your prayers!!

Because you prayed for me, I got the best of all gifts-LIFE!!

Baby Shower for our Spiritually Adopted Babies

Diapers & Formula...Infant Necessities
To celebrate our Spiritual Adoptions, life for all,  and to help mothers and their babies in need of assistance, the SVDP Respect Life Committee invites everyone to bring diapers and formula, all sizes and all types, and in addition to diapers and formula, unwrapped baby shower gifts are welcomed throughout the month of October.  This will benefit the Alternatives Pregnancy Center and their work to help women in crisis pregnancies. Collection boxes will be located in the back of the church.  Thank you for your generosity.
